Hi, I’m Jessica. I live in Willow Park, Texas with my sweet husband, James, our 4 year old girl, Sawyer, our English Bulldog, Lucy and new puppy, Briggs. You will be all too acquainted with the faces of these four before long.
I grew up about 2 hours east of Fort Worth in the small town of Tyler, Texas. Sure, I am a small town girl in the big city, but I think I have transitioned pretty well. Ask my friends about my accent. After 9 years, it’s almost gone. 😉
I am an avid garage saler, and thrift store picker. I have a knack for revamping antique furniture in my spare time. Not that there is a whole lot of that left over at the end of the day. I sit on the board of a non-profit called Hallies Heroes and spend a lot of time registering people for the National Bone Marrow registry. You can read more about that here at https://www.dkms.org/HallieBarnard. I love to read, my favorite color is green, and Christmas is not just a holiday, but a way of life in my house. Up until 2012, I have only ever taken photographs as a hobby. Yes, I was the girl that always had her camera stuck in front of her face. I guess you could say that not much has changed. Whether it be my phone, a regular point and shoot camera, or my Nikon DSLR, you can find me snapping away at life in the making. My husband often has to remind me to put down my camera and see life outside of a viewfinder. He keeps me grounded. 🙂
Here at my blog you will find my most recent work, any noteworthy news about JNP and a little bit of my story as a photographer and parent. Sit back, take a look, and come back often. I hope you will subscribe to my blog, as well as like my facebook & IG page:
